DC shouldn't mean Dysfunctional Continuum

There are many type's of gay men in the world.
We like our little boxes as humans, we are comfortable with limits.
Arguably there are really only three things that humans are good at:
1.) Creation
2.) Destruction
3.) Naming
Now just because you qualify as a human doesn't mean you are equally good at all three. But you have some skill to do one of the above.
With that in mind, in the modern gay world there are a number of terms of reference we use for each other. One may be a twink, bear, muscle-boy, sugar-daddy or any of the other miscellany that we seem to feel as comfortable labels for our body types/clicks.
The problem is that not everyone fits into these catagories. I happen to be one of these individuals. From what I've found, most guys who this is attributed to have one of three reactions.
1.) They make there own way and don't care.
2.) They feel a sense of loss about "not belonging"
3.) They end up starting there own label and attracting others.
Notice the similarity to the list above. Some things seem to hold true across the board.
I also happen to think that if you take the time to look at it, you can understand people better by which reaction they take to conundrums in there lives. It might be lay-mans psychology, but I think in the end we are all trying to put the pieces together about the world around us, that includes the people around us.
